Mitchell’s Journey with LMC Express: A Story of Growth, Trust, and Gratitude

Mitchell’s journey with LMC Express began in April 2014 when he joined as an FC Supervisor. Over time, he demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication. In 2015, he was appointed as the JHB-DBN-JHB Route Controller, where he noticed the need for a depot in Durban.

Taking the initiative, Mitchell successfully opened the Durban depot in September 2017 and was promoted to the role of DBN Branch Manager.

One of the highlights of Mitchell’s career has been the trust and confidence his superiors placed in him when they tasked him with opening the DBN branch. Being given the responsibility to establish and manage a new branch was a significant milestone in his career, one that he cherishes to this day.

Mitchell is especially grateful to LMC Express for giving him a life-changing opportunity at a crucial time. Mitchell had not yet found a company where he truly felt at home. Having worked in numerous courier and FMCG companies since the age of 18, he had never felt comfortable enough to put down roots. However, when he started with LMC Express, he immediately knew that this was the place where he belonged. Over the years, LMC has played a key role in his personal and professional growth, allowing Mitchell and his family to thrive year after year.

As DBN Branch Manager, Mitchell’s role revolves around a straightforward but vital goal: to generate revenue while ensuring the satisfaction of both clients and employees. His leadership is a balance of business success and the well-being of those around him, creating a positive and productive work environment.

Outside of his professional life, Mitchell is passionate about spending quality time with his family. He loves to camp whenever possible, enjoying the outdoors and creating lasting memories with his loved ones. He also enjoys taking on projects that allow him to transform things, such as when he converted a simple trailer into a luxurious off-road camper. Mitchell’s creativity and hands-on approach to life reflect his commitment to both personal growth and family life.

Mitchell is proud of the journey he has had with LMC Express, and he looks forward to continuing his growth within the company, contributing to its success while staying grounded in the values that matter most to him.
